THE LISTENER — THE CONSUMED WORLD
4.8.0 BETA — THE LIVING CAVERN
Minecraft Java 1.20.1 | Forge 47 | Java 17

A REAL OVERWORLD CAVERN
- Replaced the new garden encounter's separate-dimension entrance with a
physical underground cavern generated as part of new Overworld chunks.
- Seed-based placement produces different locations in different worlds.
Irregular stone chambers, branching plant-filled spaces, hanging roots
and a winding surface approach lead to a large two-storey manor.
High terrain receives a climbable vine fissure above the approach.
  Ocean entrances can be submerged.
- This encounter starts only in the Overworld. The former garden dimension
stays registered solely to recover players from older saved encounters.
- Existing terrain is not retroactively carved. In an older world, explore
new chunks or use the locator command. No new save is required.
- Normal mob spawns and scripted Listener/flesh arrivals are blocked inside
generated cave bounds. Only the intended plants, vines and story shadow
belong to the encounter. Items, players and projectiles remain unaffected.
- Plants and vines now use the real cave's bounds and saved encounter state.
The shadow also checks that it and its player are in the same cavern.

THE MANOR AND THE FIRE
- Entering the manor, leaving its front entrance and walking away triggers
  the burned-cavern sequence. The burning silhouette follows its participant;
contact restores the cavern without sending the player to another dimension.
- Each cavern owns one shared, saved story. Multiple players cannot create
overlapping fires or duplicate sets of plants in the same scene.
- The fire uses recorded changes to generated decorations. Player edits and
block entities are preserved; restoration waits for affected chunks to load.
- This real-world visit does not snapshot or roll back inventory. Items,
deaths and dropped loot follow the normal rules of the Overworld.
- Logout, death and interrupted encounters trigger restoration and cleanup.
Old garden saves retain a recovery path to their previous location.

THE WORM QUEEN — FIVE COMPLETE STAGES
- Replaced health-only visual selection with an explicit saved combat phase,
synchronized to clients and displayed as 1/5 through 5/5 on the boss bar.
- The 80%, 60%, 40% and 20% thresholds now stop an ordinary damaging hit at
the next transformation. High damage cannot skip several stages at once.
- Each threshold starts a two-second protected molt, followed by a brood
wave. Direct zero-health interruptions also respect unfinished stages.
- Five distinct silhouettes now unfold: a spreading crown, a split chest,
ruptured brood mouths, scythe-like limbs and a fully opened final body.
- Relative sizes are 1.00, 1.18, 1.38, 1.62 and 1.90. Collision dimensions
grow along with the synchronized phase. If growth collides with a wall,
the molt can move her a short distance to safe ground inside the arena,
without breaking blocks or forcing chunks to load.
- Brood waves remain six to ten larvae, and vulnerable hunts last twelve
to eighteen seconds. Living tracked larvae keep the Queen protected.
- The nine-second death, organic explosion, final gate opening and existing
drops remain: one Royal Fang, four diamonds and one netherite scrap.

COMMANDS
All commands require operator permission level 2 or enabled cheats.
/ouvinte caverna Locate and teleport to a natural cavern.
/ouvinte jardim Alias of the cavern command.
/ouvinte sair_jardim End the scene; command visitors return.
/ouvinte terror_test queen_phase 1 Preview the nearby Queen's first phase.
Use 2, 3, 4 or 5 for the other stages.
/ouvinte terror_test queen_death Preview the final death sequence.

The cavern locator works in Creative without changing the player's mode.
Use Survival for the manor story and normal boss targeting. The command
searches in bounded steps while Minecraft generates candidate chunks;
heavily explored terrain may take longer or exhaust the search. All prior
home-loop and horror test commands remain available.

INSTALLATION AND VALIDATION
Replace the previous mod JAR with ouvinte-4.8.0-beta-mc1.20.1.jar. Keep
client and server on the same version; do not install two Ouvinte versions.
The 4.7.1 startup correction for the optional classic pack is retained.

The update is compiled and checked with bytecode audits, official native
Minecraft metadata, Forge source contracts, real model/command libraries
and focused behavior adapters. These checks are not a complete launched
Forge playthrough. Natural terrain interaction and overall in-game pacing
still need playtesting. The source project includes the checks and a
reproducible build without redistributing Minecraft test libraries.
