THE LISTENER — THE CONSUMED WORLD
4.12.0 BETA — THE SEA HAS NO SHORE
Minecraft Java 1.20.1 | Forge 47 | Java 17

THE LISTENER
- Rebuilt the silhouette around one oversized, collapsed listening organ:
unequal fleshy folds, a sealed face fused beneath it, a concave chest and
long articulated hands. The ordinary and true forms share this anatomy.
- The listening folds contract during the bone-break warning and unfold
during the strike. Walking, crawling and ceiling movement are preserved.
- Added an exclusive organic atlas. No full-bright head or armor material.
- Replaced active Listener breath, fracture, footstep, pursuit, attack, pain,
death and old creature-voice routes with nonverbal organic Foley. Written
encounter dialogue and narrative recordings remain available.

THE SILENT TRENCH
- Added a naturally generated Overworld ocean descent, roughly 200 blocks
across, reaching y=-58 above the bedrock. The trench has its own biome
palette, luminous aquatic plants and a visible portal arch at its bottom.
- The entrance is empty of mobs. Spawning is denied and wandering mobs are
removed within the generated footprint. Other horror events cannot send
  the Listener into this scene.
- Generation only changes new chunks. Existing terrain is never excavated
by a player-tick task. The dedicated locator verifies a complete generated
trench before moving the player to its rim.
- Added sparse organic underwater ambience and disabled ordinary Minecraft
background music within the entrance biome.

THE DROWNED EXPANSE
- The portal drops the player onto a small island surrounded by deep water.
A chest and readable journal tell the story of a previous castaway and
connect the sea to Aurea, Light of Dawn. Aurea has two new optional lines.
- Added distinct aquatic worms, folded rays and immense distant creatures.
These are custom entities and models, not invisible vanilla mobs.
- Yellow-lit diving bells lead beneath the water to a ruined ritual temple.
The realm grants breathing while exploring; the journal explains this
unnatural property. Ordinary Minecraft music is suppressed here.
- The shared ritual requires three pearls for the stone seals, followed by
a fourth offering at the violet altar. Pearls come from renewable worms.
- Finishing the rite awakens Leviath, collapses authored temple fragments,
turns the water and underwater fog blood red, and grants the advancement
"Summon the God of the Seas". Player edits are excluded from the collapse.

LEVIATH
- A new 700-health boss with an approximately 18-block articulated body,
hinged jaws, sensory cavities, gill membranes and eight moving segments.
- Three health phases escalate from warned charges and depth-dodgeable
whirlpools to broods and diving attacks. Recovery windows bring the head
  within melee range. Its damaging head has a visible, reachable hitbox;
the long decorative tail is not a separate damage target.
- Added a six-second death collapse, final rupture and guaranteed boss
rewards when doMobLoot is enabled: a Tide Relic, a Heart of Tides, two
Leviath Fangs, six diamonds and two netherite scraps.
- The held Tide Relic grants water breathing, with swimming speed and
underwater night vision. It also works outside the Drowned Expanse.
- Leviath Fangs and a Heart of Tides can be crafted with two diamonds into
a trident. A separate relic recipe uses the new ocean materials.
- Added the original 2-minute-40-second score "The Sea Has No Shore" and
separate awakening, attack, pain, death and aquatic creature sounds.
The score belongs to the encounter and continues beyond tracking range.
- Defeating Leviath activates the island exit arch and grants "The Sea
Gives You Back". Death, reconnecting and ordinary portals cannot bypass
the unfinished expedition. An explicit operator rescue command exists.
- Shared progress, boss identity, visitors, ritual seals and return points
persist. Stale boss instances cannot complete a second victory or claim
duplicate rewards. Resident recovery considers every realm visitor.

TEST COMMANDS
/ouvinte abismo
/ouvinte oceano
/ouvinte oceano temple
/ouvinte oceano ritual
/ouvinte oceano boss
/ouvinte oceano exit
All require operator permission level 2. Details and existing commands are
in COMANDOS-4.12.txt. Natural discovery requires newly generated ocean chunks;
use /ouvinte abismo for this decorator-authored biome, not /locate biome.

INSTALLATION AND VALIDATION
Replace the previous mod JAR with ouvinte-4.12.0-beta-mc1.20.1.jar on both
client and server. Keep only one version installed. Older mod content,
dimensions, progression and saved player structures remain in the package.

The release includes bytecode/resource audits, native Minecraft model,
block-state/codec/biome tests and adapted progression/lifecycle checks.
Model previews are captures of native model geometry with software lighting,
not screenshots from a running Minecraft session. Audio was technically
validated; no listening session or full Forge gameplay run is claimed.
See VALIDACAO-4.12.txt for the scope of the checks.
