NITWIT EXTREME ADAPTIVE STABILITY — 1.3.5

The controller reacts immediately to a measured frame hitch of 250 ms or more by using its emergency pressure profile. At emergency pressure, render distance can drop to 2 chunks, entity distance is lowered, particles are minimized, and a local integrated server can reduce simulation distance to 2. Settings recover one pressure level at a time after sustained good frame times to reduce oscillation.

The existing Elytra landing mixin/config and version guard are preserved. Its legacy-derived injection is enabled only on Minecraft 1.21.1; the broad metadata range >=1.21 <=26.3 means the rest of Nitwit's client adaptation can load on declared versions, not that the Elytra injection is ported to every version.

Nitwit does not contain or merge the separate compiled mods in performanceall.zip. Most are bound to Minecraft 26.1/26.2 and have independent mixins/dependencies; bundling them into a single broad-range JAR risks startup errors and conflicts. Those components can be installed separately only when their version and compatibility requirements match.

Client-side frame adaptation can reduce local work from rendering, entities, particles, and chunk presentation. It cannot make a remote Paper server tick faster, remove network round-trip time, eliminate packet delays, or guarantee high FPS on hardware constrained by GPU/CPU/thermal limits. Use a server-side fix for actual server TPS and world-generation bottlenecks. Back up config/nitwit.properties before installing a new build.
