Nitwit 1.2.9 — Adaptive Stability Patch

Changes:
- Restored low-overhead frame-time sampling using an existing Fabric HUD render callback, with a world-render callback fallback. The sampler does not create worker threads or perform class/member scans each frame.
- Re-enabled the adaptive render-distance and simulation-distance settings rather than forcing them off during configuration loading. Existing explicit configuration choices are still respected.
- Reduced the settings update cadence from every 20 client ticks to every 5 ticks. The four controls are still staggered to avoid changing all options in one tick.
- Made frame-pressure escalation react sooner to sustained frame-time spikes and reduced the minimum pressure recovery delay. The controller still smooths frame times to avoid reacting to every isolated hitch.
- Restored local server tick-duration sampling and connected it to Fabric server tick events. Local simulation-distance adaptation is only applicable to an integrated/singleplayer server; this does not control a remote multiplayer server.
- Preserved the mod icon, config migration logic, and existing settings. Updated version metadata consistently to 1.2.9.

Limits and validation:
- The JAR structure, metadata, class-file structure, and patched bytecode were validated. This environment does not contain a running Minecraft/Fabric instance, so in-game compatibility and actual FPS gains still require testing on the target game version/modpack.
- This patch is not a renderer rewrite and cannot match Sodium's rendering pipeline by itself. Results depend on hardware, JVM heap/GC, shaders/resource packs, other mods, world generation, and server load. It cannot force a remote server to maintain 20 TPS or reduce internet ping.
