NITWIT ADAPTIVE STABILITY — 1.2.9

This build samples frame pacing via a Fabric render callback and progressively reduces selected client workload settings when sustained frame-time pressure is detected. It can adjust render distance, entity render distance, and particle quality. Simulation-distance changes depend on local integrated-server pressure and supported game option mappings.

Frame sampling is deliberately small: one monotonic clock sample at the render callback, with cached frame-budget reflection refreshed occasionally. No custom worker threads are created. Setting changes are staggered and use baseline tracking to restore the user's values when appropriate.

This is not a renderer rewrite, and it cannot equal Sodium's direct renderer optimizations on its own. It cannot force GPU/OS scheduling, eliminate garbage collection pauses, optimize every other mod or custom world generator, change remote-server TPS, or remove internet latency. A client-side mod cannot control another server's CPU or tick loop.

The metadata still declares Minecraft >=1.21 <=26.3 and Java >=21; this range is not live-tested against every Fabric/Minecraft build. Test against the exact Minecraft version, Fabric Loader/API, and mod list. Back up existing configs before testing.
