POCKET PILOTS 0.6.0 - PLAYGROUND (EXPERIMENTAL)
Minecraft Java 1.20.1 / Forge 47+ / Java 17 compatible.
Still 16 vehicle types. This update makes the Wasp and five abilities distinct.

INSTALL
Back up your world. Remove older Pocket Pilots JARs, then install only this JAR.
Update both server and every client: network protocol is now 6.
Existing vehicle/item registry IDs, crafting recipes and pairing remain intact.
G = ability, H = horn only, R = TNT action, C = exit.
WASD + mouse look = steer. Helicopters: Space/Shift = altitude.

WASP: NOW AN INSECT-LIKE TWIN-ROTOR CRAFT
Two separate outboard two-blade rotors instead of a central helicopter cross.
Striped charcoal/yellow abdomen, wing arms, dark engine pods, small landing
feet, front canopy and short rear stinger. No conventional tall tail fin.
Inventory/held-item geometry matches the placed vehicle. Scout is unchanged.
G = a brief sideways dodge, alternating right then left with each activation.
Direction is relative to heading when pressed, not the camera afterwards.
Roughly 3 blocks in open air over a quarter-second, 4-second activation cycle.
Uses normal collision-aware movement, not teleportation or a top-speed buff.
Actual distance depends on walls, terrain and normal server physics.

FIVE DISTINCT ABILITY REWORKS
Wasp: sideways Dodge, as above. No air-dash speed multiplier.
Speedboat: Breach. G launches upward from water at 0.70 vertical velocity.
Water buoyancy and the old vertical cap no longer cancel the jump; normal
handling is retained through its 1.5-second active window. 5-second cycle.
Requires water; no midair retrigger. Beached speed stays slow outside a leap.
Hovercraft: Pressure wave. G pushes mobs, dropped items and other pocket
vehicles away within a 4-block spherical radius, with an expanding dust ring.
A single pulse, no direct damage, no block destruction; 5-second cycle.
Prank Van: Yoink. G pulls dropped items toward the van for 3 seconds from
within 6 blocks, plus smoke/confetti. 7-second cycle. Does NOT touch player
inventories, collect/store items inside the van, or pull players/mobs.
Full-block climbing passive retained. Getaway speed buff removed.
Dizzy car: Whirlwind. Spins while pulling/swirling mobs, dropped items and
other pocket vehicles within 3 blocks for 2 seconds. 5-second cycle.
Forces are inward plus tangential, not an increased top-speed multiplier.

All new push/pull forces are server-side, exclude players, and process at most
64 eligible candidates per effect step. Effects use spherical distance checks
but are not blocked by walls. They apply ordinary velocity impulses, not
damage calls or block edits. Indirect fall/collision/hazard consequences are
still possible. Cooldown spam and linked-remote permission checks remain.

RETAINED DISTINCT ABILITIES
Boost Racer: the dedicated turbo car, 2-second speed burst / 8-second cycle.
Hopper Buggy: high ground-only spring jump / 2.5-second cycle.
Skycrane: precision hover, damped horizontal motion / 7-second cycle.
Other vehicles retain their existing passive handling/flight/water features.
Hovercraft still floats and softens falls. G/H mappings, Mini TNT, turbines,
sharing, recipes, improved icon, pixel HUD and bounded flight smoothing retained.
HUD names and tooltips now describe Dodge, Breach, Pressure, Yoink, Whirlwind.
Cooldowns reset when a vehicle is repacked or the world is reloaded.

VALIDATION / LIMITATIONS
Actual model builder generation and 16 entity/item lookups passed in a stub
harness. All 16 meshes and inventory models passed same-facing coplanar-face
checks; 5 helicopters sampled at 72 rotor angles (5-degree increments).
Wasp's two rotor sweep circles are physically separated.
Isolated tests passed: dodge heading/alternation, breach velocity/cap/buoyancy,
pulse radius/player exclusions/network flags, item-only magnet, swirling
forces, server-only activation, cooldowns and remote permission checks.
Retained jump/hover/turbo and all 16 HUD variants were also tested, alongside
bytecode/interface/JSON/assets audits and rendered model/HUD previews.
These tests use minimal Minecraft/Forge stubs. Minecraft and Forge were not
launched here. Full gameplay, multiplayer and other-mod compatibility are
NOT verified; exact ability feel/range and rendering still need in-game tests.
Surface sampling is not a guarantee against every shader/camera artifact.
