NITWIT LOW-OVERHEAD STABILITY — 1.2.8

This diagnostic stability build disables the reflective world-render frame sampler and tick timing telemetry hooks to minimize recurring measurement overhead. The client-side tick callback remains for conservative heap-pressure-based entity/particle adaptation.

This is not a renderer rewrite and does not promise higher FPS. If severe frame-time spikes remain with this build, the primary cause is likely outside Nitwit's measurement hooks (for example world generation, renderer workload, another mod, JVM garbage collection, or integrated/remote server tick pressure). Compare the same location and load against a test with Nitwit removed to isolate effects.

The mod creates no custom worker threads. It cannot control GPU/OS scheduling, remove input latency caused by frame stalls, force a remote server to maintain 20 TPS, or remove internet ping. It does not hide malformed packets, automatic attribute swaps, or abnormal hitboxes from server-side validation.

Metadata declares Minecraft >=1.21 <=26.3 and Java >=21 as a compatibility target; this range has not been live-tested across every Minecraft/Fabric combination. Use a matching Fabric Loader and Fabric API.
