NITWIT STABILITY SCOPE

Nitwit reduces client-side rendering load by adapting render distance, entity distance, and particles when frame-time pressure is detected. For an integrated single-player world, it can also adapt local simulation distance when local server tick pressure is detected.

It does not control a remote multiplayer server's TPS or MSPT, internet ping, operating-system scheduling, GPU driver behavior, or other mods' internal threads. No client-only Fabric mod can guarantee the same frame-time graph on every world and computer. The goal is better frame pacing and lower rendering load, not a mathematically guaranteed 3 ms frame time.

The mod keeps customized existing config values. To use the new defaults on a heavily customized config, back up and remove config/nitwit.properties before the next launch; a fresh profile will be generated.
