Cyberdeck Security Briefing

A Cyberdeck is not a toy, a status symbol, or a substitute for judgment.

Authorized deck users may store and execute quickhacks against compatible cybernetic targets. This capability has significant tactical and operational value, but it also exposes the user to intrusion risk.

All Cyberdeck operators are advised to maintain an active ICE Defence Protocol. The protocol may interrupt hostile quickhacks before they compromise movement, sensory systems, implanted weapons, or life-support hardware.

Operators should also be aware that:
• Unsecured cyberware may be remotely disabled
• Visual implants can be overloaded or spoofed
• Energy systems can be drained
• Targeting modules can be fed false data
• Neural systems can experience temporary control interference

If your vision displays unauthorized text, your limbs move without input, or your Cyberdeck begins running programs you did not select, disconnect from nearby networks immediately.

Do not attempt to “fight the hacker” through instinctive command input.

That is how they know you are scared.
