# Turf
## What is turf?
Turfs are permanent territories set up
by staff. Any team can take one by
holding it, and the holder is paid
Belly every hour.
You must be in a team to capture,
defend or earn from a turf. Players
with no team are ignored completely.
---
## Turf commands
/ctturf list
Every turf, its owner and location,
plus your team's holdings.
/ctturf info <name>
Size, owner, time held, next payout,
income and any capture in progress.
/ctturf here
Info for the turf you're standing in.
/ctturf history <name>
Every team that has held it.
---
/ctturf leaderboard
Teams by total time holding turf.
/ct turf ... works the same as
/ctturf ...
---
## Capturing
- Stand inside with no defender
present. After 120 seconds unopposed,
the turf is yours.
- Any defender (owner team or its
allies) inside freezes the meter.
- More attackers capture faster, up to
3x speed.
- Two rival attacking teams and no
defender is a standoff: nobody gains.
Allied teams attack as one force.
---
- An empty turf slowly loses capture
progress, so you can't park it at 99%.
- Everyone inside sees a boss bar: red
while filling, yellow while stalled.
- The whole server is told the moment
a capture STARTS, so defenders can
react.
- A turf is a full-height column: being
in a cave under it counts.
- Restarts clear captures in progress.
---
## Income
Each turf has its own price set by
staff (some may pay nothing).
- The team owner gets the turf's
leader rate each hour.
- Every other member gets the member
rate each, not split.
- Offline members' shares are saved
for their next login.
- A team that captures a turf waits a
full hour for its first payout.
---
## The crown turf
One turf may be the crown. Its holder's
team owner gets a title for their
faction:
- Pirate: Pirate King
- Marine: King of the World
- Bounty Hunter: Bounty God
- Revolutionary: Hero of the
  Revolution
Lose the crown and the title goes too.
Sentries can't guard the crown.
---
## Treasure zones
Every so often a treasure zone appears
somewhere 1,000 to 6,000 blocks from
spawn, announced to the server.
- Capture it like a turf, but hold it
for 10 minutes.
- Every team member standing in it when
it fills rolls a box: Golden 10%,
Iron 25% or Wooden 65%.
- The team also earns Elo.
- Unclaimed zones vanish after 45 min.
---
## Elo from turf
Some turfs and every treasure zone pay
Elo to each member of the capturing
team who is inside when it fills. Turf
Elo stops paying once you reach 1,600
Elo.
---
## Ancient Weapons
Three turfs may carry an Ancient
Weapon. Take the island, take the
weapon; lose it and it's gone.
- Uranus: the holder's team can't be
sieged (land can still be overclaimed).
- Poseidon: the holder's whole team
swims freely despite devil fruits.
- Pluton: the holder's team leader can
level terrain.
---
/pluton destroy <x> <y> <z> <radius>
Pluton holder's leader only. Blasts a
sphere of terrain (radius up to 50)
and damages living things caught in
it, less at the edges. Your own team
is not hurt. 24 hour cooldown.
---
## Sentries
Sentries are NPC guards you buy once
and post on turfs your team holds.
While a sentry lives, nobody can
capture that turf.
/ctturf sentry buy <name>
Buy a sentry: 250,000 Belly.
/ctturf sentry list
/ctturf sentry info <sentry>
---
/ctturf sentry style <sentry> <style>
Set its fighting style: 100,000 Belly.
/ctturf sentry fruit <sentry> <fruit>
Give it a devil fruit: 250,000 Belly,
and the fruit you carry is used up.
Swapping fruits does not return the
old one.
/ctturf sentry upgrade <sentry>
Raise its skill level (max 10). Starts
at 50,000 and costs more each level.
---
/ctturf sentry deploy <sentry>
Stand inside a turf your team owns.
Costs 25,000 Belly every time.
/ctturf sentry recall <sentry>
Bring it back.
/ctturf sentry abilities <sentry>
See its abilities and their order.
/ctturf sentry ability <sentry> add <ability>
/ctturf sentry ability <sentry> remove <ability>
/ctturf sentry ability <sentry> clear
Set a custom order or go back to auto.
---
## Sentry tips
- A killed sentry stays dead, but its
style, fruit and skill levels are
kept. Deploy it again for the 25,000
fee.
- Sentries won't chase far off their
turf, so they can't be lured away.
- Only the owner can deploy or recall
their sentries.
- You're told when one of yours dies.
