Afterfall Ruined Streets / Afterfall Compatibility 1.0.89
Minecraft 1.20.1 - Forge - Java 17

- Horde AI: restored cooperative obstacle breaching and shared damaged-block priorities while retaining native movement. Breach path refreshes now use a bounded, deduplicated queue.
- Reduced redundant target acquisition for zombies already pursuing their bound horde player, and filtered irrelevant crowd contacts before sorting.
- Reduced distant block-crack rendering work while preserving nearby cracks and the player's own breaking feedback. Zombie counts are unchanged by these optimizations.
- City and high-rise zombie behavior, horde flying threats and infection warnings have been revised. Ambient city replenishment runs every 45 seconds; the opening two days retain their reduced population targets.
- Updated bandit priorities, noise targeting and early-game pacing. Bandit bases remain separate from the opening-day roaming-bandit protection.
- Updated third-person parkour, TaCZ and clothing compatibility, flashlight positioning, offhand combat rendering, knife positioning and bandage presentation.
- More accessible knives, an occasional Glock with matching ammunition in police-car trunks, and exceptionally rare household pump/hunting shotguns.
- Added an AV & SILAH shop to the flooded mall's ground floor. Doomsday weapon, ammunition and accessory boxes contain separate modest weapon/ammunition/attachment loot pools.
- Includes current KubeJS scripts, city assets, infection effects, contextual tutorial settings, controls and gameplay configurations.

The new shop decor appears in newly generated malls. Existing structures and already generated inventories are preserved.
Validation includes compilation/native-hook checks, queue/target/contact behavior checks, loot routing and inventory persistence regressions, and archive verification. The latest horde performance changes have not yet received a post-update gameplay benchmark; dense vehicle and horde scenes can remain demanding.
Back up existing worlds before updating. Import the ZIP through CurseForge; Afterfall Compatibility is referenced through the manifest rather than bundled as a duplicate JAR.
The standalone compatibility mod is intended for this modpack and its existing dependencies. Third-party mods and assets remain credited to their respective authors.
