PSI RELEASE 110 -> FORGE 1.7.10, ALPHA 7
Unofficial backport. Substantially expanded, but NOT complete 1:1 parity.

INSTALL
Use Minecraft 1.7.10, Forge 10.13.4.1614, and Java 8.
Put Psi-1.7.10-110-alpha.7.jar in mods. Remove the older Psi backport JAR.
Keep a backup of existing worlds before changing alpha builds.
No Patchouli or other mod is required for the built-in guide.

CHANGES IN ALPHA 7
- Raised two-arm CAD aiming pose follows the player's look direction.
- Barrel points forward, with the grip anchored in the raised right hand.
- First-person CAD uses a forward-facing pistol pose at the lower right.
- Psimetal exosuit sleeves follow the aiming pose.

CHANGES IN ALPHA 6
- Names identify Iron, Gold, Psimetal, Ebony, Ivory and Creative CAD tiers.
A loaded spell name remains visible in brackets.
- Third-person CAD rendering uses a shared grip position rather than the
block-holding transform. Original material-specific models are retained.
- Assembler widened with separate component labels and aligned inventory.
Creative assembly efficiency and potency display Unlimited instead of -1.
- Guide counter reports the selected entry, including 51/51. Prev/Next select
entries, Text up/down scroll articles, and both panes have scrollbars.
Arrow keys select entries; Page Up/Down scroll text; search remains available.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

conjured blocks/lights. Correct original workstation cuboids and UVs.
- 38 CAD components, original component statistics, validation, efficiency,
batteries, up to 12 spell sockets, saved vectors and actual component NBT.

colorizers, nine original sound files and ten adapted language files.
- Searchable programmer, undo, cell copy/paste, tooltips and parameter arrows.
Bounded compiled-spell cache and cached render geometry/grid snapshots.

GET STARTED
1. Craft a CAD Assembler and an Iron CAD Assembly. Use the assembly on the
empty assembler to create a CAD; open its interface to install components.
2. Add a Core and Socket. A Battery and Colorizer are optional. Install spell
bullets in the numbered slots. Take the CAD out before casting.
3. Open a Spell Programmer. Name the spell, select grid cells and choose
pieces. Click each parameter below the grid to point it at an input.
Validate reports compile errors. Save sends the document to the server.
4. Use a spell bullet on the programmer to write its spell. Sneak-right-click
a CAD to insert/swap an inventory bullet, or use the assembler's sockets.
5. Hold the CAD and right-click to cast. Press C to choose another socket.
Loopcast repeats every five ticks; right-click again or switch items to stop.
6. Put equipment in the assembler to install up to three bullets. The first
component slot accepts a helmet sensor. Keep a CAD in your inventory for
equipment casting. Use the Exosuit Controller to select armor sockets.
7. Craft the guide with a book and redstone. Use an empty Spell Drive on a
programmer to save a spell; a filled drive loads it. Sneak-use erases it.
Sneak-use the Flash Ring to edit its spell.

Programmer shortcuts: Ctrl+Z undo; Ctrl+C/V copy/paste cell; Delete clears;
Ctrl+S saves. Empty selected sockets permit redstone-to-Psidust infusion.
Damaged equipment regenerates using Psi while not held. Fully broken gear
loses its combat bonuses and cannot cast until repaired.

VERSION ADAPTATIONS AND KNOWN GAPS
- Elytra flight and selector_is_elytra_flying are NOT implemented. Offhand and
modern-only vanilla status/world mechanics are not recreated in full.
- Play Sound currently uses five 1.7.10 note instruments, rather than the
release-110 modern instrument registry. Glowing and several effects use
legacy approximations. Particle/sound timing and rendering are not 1:1.
- If no mod supplies gemPrismarine, Rainbow Colorizer has an additional recipe
using Psigem in the crystal position. The original ore recipe also remains.
- Guide content is readable text; Patchouli illustrations, recipe pages,
hyperlinks and original editor interactions are not fully reproduced.
- Native achievement pages replace modern advancements; parent milestones
are granted when a child is earned. Modern recipe-book unlocks do not exist.
- Eidos history is runtime-only and resets on death/dimension/server changes.
- Optional integrations, configuration coverage, original public addon API,
all rendering effects and exhaustive spell-behavior parity remain unfinished.
- Registration counts describe content presence, not complete behavioral parity.
No claim is made that every spell, multiplayer combination or modpack works.

BUILD
Gradle 9.2.0 / RetroFuturaGradle 2.0.2. JDK 25 runs the build; the configured
Azul Java 8 toolchain compiles the mod. Run gradlew.bat check assemble.
Optional isolated game checks: gradlew.bat test runClient -PpsiSmoke.
The separate smoke-test mod is excluded from the distributable JAR.
See META-INF/VERIFICATION.txt and parity/ for checks and remaining piece IDs.
