Create Connected World V5.3 — preserve your settings

This is a CurseForge client pack ZIP, not a standalone mod JAR.

The pack excludes your options.txt (video settings and keybinds), optionsof.txt, config/sodium-options.json, config/iris.properties, personal maps, waypoints, server lists and saved worlds. Do not replace your entire config folder when updating.

To retain settings, update the existing CurseForge profile using Change Version when this release is available. Importing this ZIP as a new profile creates a separate instance with new defaults; a pack ZIP cannot automatically copy settings from another profile.

If you import a new profile:
1. Close Minecraft.
2. Use Open Folder on both the old and new CurseForge profiles.
3. Copy options.txt from the old profile into the new profile. This restores Minecraft video settings, controls and keybinds.
4. If present, copy config/sodium-options.json and config/iris.properties. These restore Sodium settings and the selected shader. Copy shaderpacks as needed for a shader that is not bundled.
5. Preserve individual client mod settings you customized (such as maps or HUDs), rather than overwriting the new pack's full config folder. Do not copy mods from the old profile.
6. Launch V5.3 and check your video settings and controls.

This revision keeps Sodium 0.8.13 and Iris 1.8.14 from published V5.1 and uses CurseForge-managed LambDynamicLights 4.8.11. Immersive Lanterns has been removed from both packs. No manual mod JARs or dependency overrides are shipped. When manually updating, remove Immersive Lanterns, any unofficial lantern fix, Sodium/Embeddium Dynamic Lights, Sodium Options API, and Reese's Sodium Options. Remove any immersivelanterns dependencyOverrides entry from config/fml.toml. Video preferences, options.txt, keybind assignments, worlds, and player data are excluded. Update the existing profile to retain personal settings.
