Solo Leveling Mythical
Rendering review 0.1.1
27 September 2026 · actual screenshots from the authenticated CurseForge client in a local test world.
Every image uses the same camera at 0.5,160,0.5, yaw 0°, pitch 20°, 12 vanilla chunks. DH uses 64 chunks, Medium LOD quality, Complete transparency and OpenGL. Complementary is r5.7.1 High. Minecraft 1.21.11, Fabric 0.19.5, Sodium 0.8.7, Iris 1.10.7, DH 3.3.2.
A · DH OFF / shaders OFF
Baseline: 12 vanilla chunks. The distant mountain chain is absent.B · DH ON / shaders OFF
Verified DH 64: distant mountain chain and coastline render from the same viewpoint.C · DH OFF / shaders ON
Complementary r5.7.1 default High active. Atmosphere/water/cloud rendering changes; no DH mountains.D · DH ON / shaders ON
Fresh launch: both render at DH 64. Experimental because a one-time Iris pass warning remains.Interpretation
In B the terrain missing from A is visible beyond the vanilla limit. A separate LOD-only check hid vanilla geometry while keeping those distant meshes. The cache held 1,751 FullData rows, so this is evidence of real terrain rendering.
D rendered after a fresh launch, but logged Iris’s combined-pass warning. Another toggle sequence failed shader compilation. Keep shader combinations experimental; see the report for the tested recovery and exact error conditions.
Defaults and follow-up
Performance remains the shipped default: 8 normal chunks, DH rendering off, shaders off. Balanced uses the tested 12 normal / DH 64 configuration with shaders off.
Authenticated hub login and the shortened SQLite cache path were verified. Two server custom-font providers still fail. Class selection, inventory menus, models, armor, gates, dungeon instances, reconnects and cache isolation require the checklist.
