Summary of changes relative to the original
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CORE SYSTEM
 1. Sanity is point-based: players cap at 100, other mobs cap at their max health.
Config units and semantics are unchanged; older saves migrate automatically.
 2. Fixed 8 upstream defects: the pet-death penalty was dead code and never applied;
block cooldowns were saved into the wrong table; chunk "player placed block"
tracking lost two thirds of its entries; the inner-entity capability packet was
    resent every tick (network storm) and target switches were not synchronised;
the refresh timer was keyed by instance (leak plus lost state); a spawn-height
sentinel value; the garland timer was shared globally; and one English command
    argument order was reversed.

DAMAGE AND STATES
 3. New damage types: sanitypd:psychic, sanitypd:true_damage (attributed and
    unattributed), sanitypd:mania, sanitypd:psychic_overflow, sanitypd:crawler_explosion.
 4. All mobs have sanity except inner entities (tag sanitypd:inner_entities), which
are immune to confusion and mania and convert psychic damage into 2.5x true damage.
Each inner entity also has its own psychic resistance (stalker 10 / crawler 20 /
terror 15 points), editable at runtime.
 5. New confusion and mania status effects, including their state machine, the mania
grace period and its true damage, and two immunity effects (one of which also
stops inner entities from attacking and stops the crawler from detonating).

ITEMS AND ENCHANTMENTS
 6. New enchantments: psychic_deprivation, psychic_drain, psychic_protection.
 7. New items: three mood stabilizers (alpha / beta / gamma), three inner materials
(shard / clump / core), the inner-entity spawn eggs (with a dedicated creative
    tab), and a flower garland.
 8. Anvil refinement: a shadow weapon combined with inner clumps gains levels
(one clump = one level = one experience), capped at 100 and by the vanilla
    anvil limit per operation.
 9. Off-hand shield takes priority over shadow-weapon charging when both are held.

ENTITIES AND AI
10. Three inner entities with GeckoLib models, animations, textures and self-emissive
eye layers; individual sounds for ambient, roar, hurt and death.
11. Reworked screaming-crawler tracking and pathing: A* global routing, self-driven
movement, jumping and step-up, stuck detection, and two sanity gates (its blast
stops breaking blocks above 50% sanity; it refuses to track a player above 75%).
12. Full blackout reskins with glowing eyes for the passive animals.

PRESENTATION
13. Sanity indicator with configurable position and scale, sanity value shown while
sneaking, three configurable inner-monologue pools plus a separate expiry-warning
pool, an immediate-hint preview command, mania edge and pulse overlays, blood
tendril overlays, two post-processing shaders, and a heartbeat sound layer.
14. Simplified Chinese language file throughout (items, effects, tooltips, subtitles,
command feedback) with translated config comments; both languages ship the same
    key set.
15. Optional Jade integration: shows "Sanity: current/max" under the health bar.

COMMANDS
16. New commands: /sanity get | state | psychic | truedamage | set | add |
    config reload | innerspawn | hint <tier> add|remove|list|clear|show |
    hint expiry ... | resist set|add|subtract|clear|get.
17. The title-screen splash pool gains a small set of extra lines; the vanilla lines
    are all kept.
