A networked storage system built around one Storage Core and however many peripherals you link to it - crystals for capacity, terminals for crafting, buses for automation. Say goodbye to chest rooms.
Right-click a Storage Core with a Crystal Key to bind the key to it, then right-click any peripheral with that same key to link it to the core. Crouch + right-click (Shift by default) unlinks - a peripheral on its own, or the key itself when used on its bound core. Links work at any distance within the same dimension - nothing needs to stay chunk-loaded for a link or a crystal's contents to persist, though a bus itself still needs to be in a loaded chunk to actually tick and move items, the same as a vanilla hopper.
The Wireless Terminal skips the key entirely: right-click a core directly to bind it, then craft against that network from anywhere at all (still same-dimension).
Each tier doubles the last, from a modest 54 slots all the way up to a staggering 1,728. Right-click a matching upgrade gem onto an in-world crystal to bump it straight to the next tier - every item already inside moves over automatically, for the cost of exactly one gem. No re-linking, no downtime, no lost items.
| Crystal | Slots |
|---|---|
| Green | 54 |
| Blue | 108 |
| Purple | 216 |
| Orange | 432 |
| Yellow | 864 |
| Cyan | 1728 |
The Storage Terminal (and its Wireless counterpart) craft directly from whatever the network is holding, pulling from your own inventory too if the network comes up short. Craft All fills your inventory first, then the network, then drops anything left over on the ground at your feet - nothing ever vanishes into the void.
Place one facing the inventory you want to automate - each has its own 27-slot filter, switchable between an allow-list and a block-list, plus its own on/off toggle. They move up to 128 items per pass, and they're smart about pacing themselves: an idle bus with nothing to move checks back every 10 ticks, but the moment it actually finds work, it drops down to a snappy 4-tick retry to keep the items flowing.
Every piece is a real crafting-table recipe: a Crystal Key from an Amethyst Shard, a Stick, and an Amethyst Cluster; a Storage Core around a center Diamond Block, framed with Amethyst Cluster, Gold Block, and Copper Block; a Crafting Terminal built around a Diamond with Glass, Copper Block, Iron Block, and Gold Block; a Wireless Terminal from a ring of Ender Eyes around a Crafting Terminal; and matching Import/Export Bus recipes built from a Hopper, Redstone, a Gold Ingot, an Ender Pearl, and an Iron Ingot (Import) or Copper Ingot (Export).
Upgrade gems aren't crafted on a table at all - they're smithed. Combine a Storage Upgrade Template (Iron and Copper Ingots around a center Redstone) with an Amethyst Shard and one colored block at a smithing table: Lapis Block for Blue, Redstone Block for Purple, Copper Block for Orange, Gold Block for Yellow, and Diamond Block for Cyan. One Template, one Shard, one block - one tier jump.
