# URBANOS-0.02 Shaderpack

Welcome to the URBANOS Shaderpack! This shaderpack has been custom-tailored to deliver a highly cinematic, atmospheric, and realistic visual experience for Minecraft, while being strictly optimized to run smoothly on mid-range hardware (specifically built and tuned for an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX).

## Key Features

- **Cinematic Atmosphere:**
A fully dynamic time-of-day system with breathtaking Golden Hours, deep purple sunsets (Noche Maravilla), and moody, dark, stormy days.
- **True Volumetric Lighting (Godrays):**
High-quality sun and moon light shafts that pierce through the clouds and water, casting realistic shadows.
- **Physical Water System:**
Water features actual vertex displacement (real 3D waves) driven by Perlin noise, true convex refractive lens rain droplets on your screen, and stunning specular highlights (micro-star sparkles) when the sun hits the water.
- **Optimized Raymarched Reflections (SSR):**
Real Screen-Space Reflections for water and puddles, highly optimized with a 12-step raymarching loop, completely free of temporal ghosting or TAA artifacts.
- **Immersive Underwater:**
Deep, dense volumetric blue fog underwater, complete with caustic-driven light shafts piercing through the depths, and heavy chromatic aberration blur for realism.
- **Real-Time Wind & Vegetation:**
Foliage swaying is tied to absolute world coordinates, meaning the wind feels natural and stable as you walk through the world.
- **Advanced Post-Processing:**
Features Heat Mirage (horizon distortion on hot days) and Astigmatism (anamorphic lens flares on bright highlights like the sun and water sparkles), made possible by a custom HDR (RGBA16F) color pipeline.

## Installation

1. Install [OptiFine](https://optifine.net/) or [Iris Shaders](https://irisshaders.dev/).
2. Place the `URBANOS-0.02.zip` (or the folder) into your `shaderpacks` directory.
3. Select it in the Shaders menu in-game.

## Performance Tuning
To ensure the best performance, this shader avoids expensive Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) and history buffers. If you experience lag, try lowering the "Preset" setting in the shader options, which scales down shadow resolution, SSR steps, and volumetric precision dynamically.

Enjoy the cinematic experience!
