BLOCKFORGED — LICENSE AND COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Copyright (c) 2026 Kiyoshibara. All Rights Reserved.

1. Scope and ownership
This notice applies only to original Blockforged code, artwork, textures,
models and other project content to the extent that Kiyoshibara owns the
relevant rights. It does not claim ownership of Minecraft, third-party
software, third-party assets, or material that copyright does not protect.
Rights not expressly granted in this notice or separately by the rights
holder remain reserved.

2. Installing and playing
You may install and run an authorized copy of Blockforged as a Minecraft mod
for gameplay, including multiplayer and use on a server you operate. You may
make the copies necessary for installation, normal operation and your own
backup. This permission does not transfer ownership of the mod or grant a
general right to redistribute its files or reuse its code or assets.

3. Sharing and modpacks
You may share links to the author's official Blockforged project pages.
Modpacks may reference authorized downloads and use distribution-platform
mechanisms that the author has authorized for the mod. Any separate
permission the author grants through those platforms remains applicable.

This notice does not independently authorize uploading the mod to another
website, creating a download mirror, or including its JAR in a redistributed
modpack or server archive. Obtain prior written permission from Kiyoshibara
for such distribution unless it is already covered by a separate permission
or by applicable law. Giving credit alone does not replace permission.

4. Code, assets and modified versions
Making source code or assets available for viewing does not place them under
an open-source license. Except where separately authorized or permitted by
applicable law, prior written permission is required to copy protected code
or assets into another project, publish a modified version or port, or
redistribute the original or modified project under another license.

Normal use of the mod's supported configuration options is part of gameplay.
These terms do not claim exclusive rights to general gameplay ideas or
independently created implementations that do not copy protected content.

5. Sale and other permissions
This notice does not grant permission to sell, sublicense, or charge for
distributing Blockforged files, code or assets. Requests for additional
permissions should be directed to Kiyoshibara through the official
Blockforged project page. A permission for one specific use does not grant
unrelated rights. Preserve applicable copyright and license notices in any
copies made under a permission.

6. Third-party components
Minecraft, NeoForge, JEI and other third-party components remain subject to
their own terms and licenses. This notice does not replace or restrict rights
granted under those licenses, whether the components are bundled, referenced
or installed separately.

The NeoForged MDK template is covered by its separate MIT license. The full
notice is preserved in TEMPLATE_LICENSE.txt. In a packaged Blockforged JAR,
this notice and the template notice are located at META-INF/LICENSE.txt and
META-INF/TEMPLATE_LICENSE.txt respectively. The template's MIT license does
not, by itself, license the rest of Blockforged under MIT.

7. Warranty and rights preserved by law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Blockforged is provided as is,
without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, or fitness for
a particular purpose. To that same extent, the author disclaims liability
for damage or loss arising from use of the mod.

Nothing in this notice excludes rights, remedies, copyright exceptions or
limitations that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. This includes
any applicable statutory permission concerning backup, interoperability,
inspection or other lawful uses. Separately granted permissions and
third-party licenses remain effective within their own scope.
