DRAW YOUR IMPACT FRAMES HERE (GIMP is perfect for this)
=========================================================

Create ONE PNG per frame, named in order:
  impact_01.png, impact_02.png, ... impact_12.png

HOW TO DRAW IN GIMP:
  1. File -> New -> 1024 x 1024,  Fill With: Transparency  (RGBA).
  2. Draw your impact: radial speed-lines, cracks, a shockwave ring,
     a black/white flash, sparks, etc. Keep it CENTERED.
  3. File -> Export As -> impact_01.png (keep the alpha channel).
  4. Repeat for each frame:
        frame 01 = first contact (small, sharp)
        middle = the peak (biggest, most chaotic)
        last     = fade-out

TIPS:
  - 1024 x 1024 SQUARE is perfect. You do NOT need to match your monitor's
    aspect ratio. The mod COVER-FITS the square to your screen: it scales the
    square up uniformly (so circles stay circles, no stretching) and centers it,
    cropping the transparent corners off-screen. So a square works on 16:9,
    16:10, 21:9, anything.
  - If you'd rather draw at your exact screen size (e.g. 1920 x 1080) for
    pixel-perfect art with zero cropping, that also works — just keep the
    aspect roughly square-ish or tell me and I'll switch the fit to 'contain'.
  - The mod STRETCHES each frame to fill the whole screen, so keep the
    energy centered and leave the corners empty/transparent.
  - 512 x 512 also works if you want lighter files.
  - Transparent background is REQUIRED (so only your art shows over the game).
  - Until you add these PNGs, the mod still does sound + shake + hitstop
    (just no picture). It will NOT crash if they're missing.
