World Dimension Loader 1.4.1-beta3 - Upgrade Guide (Public Beta Candidate)

1. Back up before updating
Back up config/worlddimensionloader/, WDL_custom_dimensions/, the complete Minecraft save and original source worlds. Test the beta on a copy before changing a valuable world.

2. From 1.4.1-beta2
1.4.1-beta3 does not change gameplay/runtime behavior from beta2. It fixes the Windows JAR verifier launcher for project paths containing parentheses and rewrites the beginner Tutorial for a clearer first-Dimension setup. Existing beta2 Config/world data does not require a migration for these beta3 changes.

3. From WDL 1.4.0
1.4.1-beta3 is a beta candidate. WDL 1.4.0 remains the public stable release. Existing common.toml, dimensions.toml and gates.toml remain WDL's configuration files. The Workbench edits those same files; it is not a separate database.

4. From 1.4.1-beta1
Dimension Delete remains unavailable in the Workbench. Gate Delete remains available. Normal beta3 use cannot schedule a new Dimension definition deletion.

5. If beta1 already left a pending Dimension-delete plan
Do not manually delete the pending-plan file, transaction files, WDL runtime folders or source-world folders as a first-line fix. Start beta3 on a backup/test copy. Beta3 keeps the existing startup recovery/finalization rules instead of discarding the plan.

If the pending plan remains blocked:
1) stop further Config changes;
2) keep latest.log/debug.log and make a fresh backup/test copy;
3) run `/wdl pending-delete status`;
4) use `/wdl pending-delete cancel` only when you intentionally want to remove that existing pending plan.

Cancellation removes the pending plan only. It does not delete physical/source-world data and does not rewrite the Dimension Config by itself.

6. Workbench access
The Workbench has no survival recipe and requires Creative mode plus permission level 2 or higher. See WDL_GUI_GUIDE_EN_1.4.1-beta3.txt for current beta3 behavior.

7. Runtime compatibility
Network Protocol remains 11. Existing Gate travel, Reset/Resident lifecycle, Timed Session, Anchor and Return Scroll architecture is retained. Test Dimension edit/save, Gate edit/save/delete and Gate travel/return before adopting the beta in a valuable save.

8. Rollback
If your beta3 test fails, stop and restore your own known-good backup. WDL 1.4.0 remains the public stable fallback, but automatic downgrade safety from every beta state is not guaranteed. Restore the matching Config/save/world data for the rollback plan you tested instead of mixing states from different versions.

See WDL_TROUBLESHOOTING_EN_1.4.1-beta3.txt for recovery and WDL_TUTORIAL_EN_1.4.1-beta3.txt for the first-Dimension quick start.
