Not every calling is a battle. The Utility pair went to a wanderer who never once asked the sky for power - only for a door that never closed. No slam, no war-cry, no grand landing. Just a horizon that keeps arriving one flap earlier than it should.
No slam, no combat trick - Utility Wings is the mobility specialist, purely passive, purely about staying in the air longer and getting where you're going faster.
Every tick you're falling while gliding, your downward speed is trimmed by 10% - it compounds continuously, so long glides noticeably flatten out instead of speeding up the way vanilla Elytra gliding does.
Your horizontal speed gets a 20% boost per tick while gliding, capped at 2.5 blocks/tick so it can't runaway-accelerate into absurd speeds - you'll feel snappier without breaking physics.
Durability loss while flying is cut roughly in half - the attachment quietly restores 1 durability point every 40 ticks (2 seconds), offsetting about half of what a normal Elytra would burn through in that time. Your wings will simply last twice as long between repairs.
Press X (by default) to toggle full creative-style flight - no fuel, no fall risk, hover wherever you like. It automatically switches back off the moment any of its requirements break: taking off the attachment or Elytra, the Elytra shattering mid-flight, dying and respawning, or changing dimension. No need to babysit it - it fails safe.
X (by default) - toggle creative-style flight. V (by default) - toggle the wings' visual display while flying (shared by every attachment, not just Utility).
