MOTHLIGHT 1.0.1
Minecraft Java 1.20.1 | Forge | Oculus mc1.20.1-1.8.0

VERSION 1.0.1 FIX
Fixes the deferred.fsh RGBA16F compilation error. Remove the older
Mothlight 1.0 ZIP from shaderpacks, install this ZIP, and select 1.0.1.

INSTALL
1. Put Mothlight-1.0.1-Forge-1.20.1-Oculus-1.8.0.zip in the shaderpacks folder
of your Minecraft instance. Keep the ZIP zipped.
2. Open Minecraft, then Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs.
3. Select Mothlight and apply it. The High preset is already configured.

No editing, build step, extra textures or companion resource pack is needed.
This assumes Forge and Oculus already launch successfully in your instance.
The ZIP is a shader pack; it goes in shaderpacks, not mods or resourcepacks.

THE LOOK
Soft daylight and filtered shadows, reflective rippling water, golden-hour
haze, moving foliage, volumetric clouds, clear-night teal/violet auroras,
a starfield and black hole in the End, and warm glowing Nether materials.

The five supplied screenshots guided the visual direction. Their worlds,
structures, resource packs and other mods are not contained in this ZIP.

QUALITY
High is the ready-to-use default. Optional Low, Balanced and Ultra presets
are available in Shader Pack Settings. Low keeps sky reflections on water
and reduces the more expensive lighting and reflection effects.

VERIFICATION
Every shader program compiled and linked on an OpenGL compatibility renderer.
The rendering pipeline was exercised with synthetic voxel scenes, not a
Minecraft client. Forge/Oculus gameplay, your GPU, your mod list and exact
matching to the reference screenshots have not been verified in-game.
See VALIDATION.txt for the precise checks and remaining limits.
