ETERNAL BLIZZARD SURVIVAL 0.2.6 — FABRIC 1.21.11
================================================

FEATURES
- Four global climate stages: 10% Calm, 30% Light Snow, 40% Heavy Snow and
  20% Blizzard.
- A persistent vertical frost bar styled after the XP bar sits at the center
of the right screen edge, without a percentage label.
- Frozen I begins at 70% frost. Frozen II begins at 100% frost. Both use a
dedicated ice-crystal effect icon and do not replace normal Slowness.
- Hunger increases cold gain in four steps: food levels 16–20 = 1.00x,
  11–15 = 1.35x, 6–10 = 1.70x and 0–5 = 2.00x. Heat sources still warm the
  player normally.
- Crops and other growable blocks grow more slowly in cold biomes. Passive
growth succeeds at 75% during Calm, 60% during Light Snow, 40% during
Heavy Snow and 20% during a Blizzard. A suitable heat source restores
normal Vanilla growth inside its full heat radius. Bone meal is unchanged.
- The Vanilla powder-snow vignette grows with the frost bar.
- At maximum frost, the player reliably takes half a heart of freeze damage
  every two seconds.
- Food, regular/splash/lingering potions and water buckets freeze at maximum
frost. Frozen stacks glint, show a snowflake in their name, cannot be used
and thaw one item every five seconds in a furnace, smoker or blast furnace.
- Extra snow particles scale with the climate stage, including a very small
  amount during Calm.
- Water and powder snow raise frost especially quickly.
- Heat sources work only through explicit radii; roofs and houses grant no
  hidden warmth bonus.
- Armor materials provide different insulation. Leather is by far the
warmest, followed by netherite, diamond, iron, copper, chainmail and gold.
- Warmth I–IV can be applied to every armor slot and is compatible with all
other armor enchantments. It is currently available from the enchanting
  table and librarian trades.

CLIMATE COMMANDS
- Each manually selected climate remains active for ten minutes, after which
  weighted random selection resumes.
- /weather calm
- /weather low_snow or /weather light_snow
- /weather medium_snow or /weather heavy_snow
- /weather blizzard

HEAT RADII
- Torch: 7 blocks
- Lantern: 9 blocks
- Lit furnace, smoker or blast furnace: 12 blocks
- Lit campfire: 16 blocks
- Fire: 14 blocks
- Lava: 18 blocks
- Lava cauldron: 12 blocks
- Magma block: 6 blocks

SNOW AND ICE
- The large heat radii apply to players and normal plant growth.
- Snow and ice melt only when an active heat source touches one of their six
directly adjacent blocks. Distant light does not erase the ice-age terrain.

PERFORMANCE
- Climate and frost are calculated once per second.
- The ice vignette uses Minecraft's existing powder-snow effect. The custom
HUD bar uses Fabric Rendering and no renderer mixin.
- A compact per-chunk heat index is rebuilt only when chunks load or heat
sources change. Players and plants query known sources instead of scanning
  large block volumes.
- Only the strongest heat source counts; placing many torches does not stack
  their output.

INSTALLATION
1. Open a Minecraft 1.21.11 Fabric instance in Prism Launcher.
2. Install Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.11.
3. Put this JAR in the mods folder. Do not extract it.
4. Add Eternal Blizzard World 1.1.0 if you also want the frozen world preset.

NOTE
The Survival code works in the integrated Singleplayer server and on a
Dedicated Server. Creative and Spectator players are exempt from frost.
Snow-golem spawning, targeting and projectile behavior moved to the separate
Eternal Blizzard Creatures module starting with Survival 0.2.6.

Testing commands (0.2.7):
- /disable freeze : disables and clears player freeze/frost
- /enable freeze : re-enables freeze/frost
