Registry Snapshots 0.1.0 - Quick Usage Guide
=============================================

Purpose
-------
Save and compare deterministic Minecraft/NeoForge registry snapshots between builds.

Commands
--------
/regsnap
Show the current registry summary and capture timing.

/regsnap save <name>
Save the current registry state to registrysnapshots/snapshots/<name>.json.

/regsnap list
  List saved snapshots.

/regsnap list open
Open the local snapshot folder in singleplayer. Dedicated servers intentionally do not open their host filesystem.

/regsnap diff <old> <new|current>
Compare snapshots and report added/removed entries.

/regsnap diff startup current
Compare the in-memory startup baseline with the current registry state.

/regsnap export <name>
Validate a snapshot and display its summary/location.

/regsnap delete <name>
Delete a saved snapshot. Corrupt snapshots can also be deleted.

/regsnap benchmark
Run a RAM-only determinism/performance check. No snapshot file is written.

Notes
-----
- Persistent snapshots are created only when explicitly requested with /regsnap save.
- 'startup' is RAM-only and 'current' means the live registry state.
- On dedicated servers, /regsnap requires gamemaster-level operator permission.
- Registry Snapshots is read-only with respect to Minecraft registries.
