You can create a lockpick! but.. it can be quite ineffective.. and noisy.

[blank line]
BEWARE! Caves now COLLAPSE!
I always thought the progession from wood to diamond is rather quick,
so to balance this and give this more realism, i added “Collapsing Caves”.
Caves now COLLAPSE, so be careful where you mine. Your way back might just collapse in on itself.

[section "weapons" "More Weapons! and Balanced Muskets!"]
[in bold and large "More Weapons! and Balanced Muskets!"]

More Weapons!
[blank line]
There are a lot of new weapons added to the game!, including Javelins which you can throw, knifes, battleaxes, and more!
[blank line]
There are also now Muskets, 17th Century Styled Guns, with Balanced reloading times.
Flintlock Pistol = 6s
Muskets (+ bayonets) = 10s
Blunderbuss (Shotgun) = 10s
Scoped Musket (+ bayonet) = 16s
Hand Mortar (Bomb) = 16s
[blank line]
Musket Fire can be heard up to 800 blocks away. so be careful!
[new page]
[in bold and large "Headshots!"]
[blank line]
Headshots deal twice as much damage with arrows and bullets when the target has a helmet. Gunshots to the head without a helmet instantly kill. And while a lot of animals are one-shot with guns, some animals like Bears must be shot in the front in order to one-shot them. A gun is a useful thing that isn't hard to craft, that will make encounters with dangerous mobs a lot more manageable head-on.

[section "towns" "Towns & Empires"]
[in bold and large "Towns & Empires"]
[blank line]
Once you have settled down are want to create a Town, you can do so by pressing "J" for the Town/Empires GUI!
[blank line]
Creating a Town Costs "5" Gold Bars. You get 18 claim banners when you create a town!
Each Claim banner lets you claim 1 chunk of land.
After that, each claim banner after that costs 1 Gold Bar each to buy.
And Don't Worry, Non-Citizens can't lockpick your things now :) unless.. you're being invaded..
You can now access the Manage Town menu, where you can buy more claim banners, and give citizens plots of land to build their houses!
You can also Invite, Evict, or Elect players in your town!
[new line. anytime i put "" down, i want you to search config for the value and change it in the book to make it match config if config ever changes. check upon opening the book]
There are 4 Ranks in any given town! a Monarch, Lord, Trusted, and Citizen.
a Monarch is the ruler and owner of a town, overseeing it!
a Lord is the highest rank a Monarch can bestow upon somebody, granted them access to invite and give players land!
a Trusted is a citizen who can be trusted to break/build around the town!
[new page]
[section "diplomacy" "Alliances/Trades/Enemies/Empires"]
[in bold and large "Alliances/Trades/Enemies/Empires"]
You may also Ally a town, and have peace with them! through an invite system, you can adjust your diplomatic status with them!
Since there is no teleportation, Trade must be done by Horse or Ship! But, before making such a large journey, you can indicate your intent to them! You can also request to have Open Borders, which lets each town's citizens merge and allow access to each other's town!
[blank line]
You can also declare WAR on a Town or Empire! This is of no cost to you, but, be warned, as this allows invasion to occur on BOTH ends!
After Declaring War, you may start an Invasion if there are "3" players online! It costs "2" Gold Bars to Start an Invasion!
Upon Beginning, You can given a WAR Banner, Place this on the enemies Land. Each War banner has "80"hp and needs to be killed in order to defend from an invasion! Protect/Capture the Flag!
Upon a Flag being placed, the Invaders can place/break blocks anywhere in the chunk it was placed, and place tnt/explosives in a 1 chunk radius around the Chunk that's being invaded.
During an invasion, the Invader can lock-pick ANY lock in the whole town!
If you declare war on an Empire, they wont know Which town until you're already there!
If your banner stands the "20" minute timer, then you will officially CLAIM THEIR LAND!
[new line]
Note that. If you Join an Empire, you forfeit all diplomatic immunity, that is, that you no longer will have the ability to choose allies, and choose your battles. So make sure you pick a Good empire who will care about you!

[section "distant" "Distant Sounds!"]
[in bold and large "Distant Sounds!"]
[blank line]
Distant Noises is a Custom Mod that allows you to hear sounds from very far away!
As previously mentioned, you can hear guns and explosions up to 800 blocks away! As you get further away from noises
they will get quieter and more muffled, and it creates a more inter-connected world!
You can also hear certain Animals stomping around from distances, most of them dangerous, some not.
65 blocks: Iron Golem, Ravager, Warden
50 blocks: Grizzly Bear, Polar Bear, Panda, Dropbear, Sea Bear, Gorilla, Bison, Elephant
35 blocks: Camel, Moose, Crocodile, Caiman, Tiger, Snow Leopard, Tusklin
20 blocks: Tasmanian Devil
You can also hear Animals make noises, like sheep and such up to 48 blocks away.
and there are a lot of other features, that give you a more immersive experience!
You can hear animals running from further away, and be able to hear the world further, as well as see!
[blank line]
[in bold "YOU are Loud. Not just with guns,"]
Your Voice can be heard up to 60 blocks away
Sprinting in a cave can be heard up to 50 blocks away. Beware of rushing through a cave when
other players may be around.
Sprinting above ground can be heard up to 28 blocks away!
Walking in caves can be heard up to 30 blocks away, which is better.
However, Taking fall damage in a cave is the real killer. it will echo for 90 blocks.
So, just be careful how you play. These are just Maximum ranges, so someone 50 blocks away could mistake
a short sprint for any other in-game noise.
[blank line]
You also can be heard when moving through brush. However, it's a bit more complex
We wanted to fully impliment a sneaking mechanic, so Sprinting will still broadcast the same 28 blocks
However, Sneaking and Crawling through grass is very quiet, and only broadcasts for 6 blocks, and only plays at 25% volume!
