World Dimension Loader 1.2.2 - Upgrade Guide from 1.0.0 / 1.1.x / 1.2.x

============================================================
1.2.1 -> 1.2.2
============================================================
No mandatory Config migration is required. Existing 1.2.1 Config remains valid and is never automatically rewritten.

1.2.2 changes the generated layout, not the runtime defaults:
- default behavior is expressed by omission
- generated Config contains a fully commented ALL OPTIONS TEMPLATE
- practical examples omit values already equal to WDL defaults
- common.toml may contain no active assignments
- .template.toml files are now valid comment-only TOML instead of intentionally incomplete placeholders
- Java-generated Config and bundled *.example.toml are synchronized

Examples of settings that may be omitted when the default is desired:
- dimensions.respawn.mode -> INHERIT
- dimensions.runtime.keep_loaded -> false
- dimensions.bed.allow_bed_respawn -> false
- dimensions.anchor.enabled -> true
- Inventory/Travel Policy -> unrestricted
- Gate enabled/frame/size/open time -> WDL defaults
- Gate allowed_igniters -> unrestricted normal WDL Igniters

Recommended migration only if you want the cleaner layout:
1. Stop Minecraft/server.
2. Back up config/worlddimensionloader/.
3. Move the old Config aside.
4. Start WDL 1.2.2 once to generate the new files.
5. Copy only intentional overrides from the old Config.
6. Run /wdl scan -> /wdl list -> /wdl status and test the affected Gates.

Do not copy every line from the ALL OPTIONS TEMPLATE. It is a reference dictionary.

============================================================
1.2.0 -> 1.2.1
============================================================
No destructive migration is required. Existing Config remains valid.

Changes:
- generated Config/examples/templates now use English-only comments
- omitted or [] allowed_igniters = unrestricted for normal WDL Dimension Igniters
- non-empty list = explicit normal-Igniter restriction
- Creative master/cost/Policy bypass behavior is unchanged
- same-frame ambiguity validation is wildcard-aware and remains fail-closed

An explicit Basic+Advanced list from 1.2.0 keeps that exact restricted meaning. An omitted/empty 1.2.0 entry becomes future-proof unrestricted behavior in 1.2.1. With the current built-in Igniters, normal access is effectively unchanged.

Existing bilingual Config remains valid. Back up and regenerate only if you want the cleaner English-only generated format.

Legacy 1.0.0/1.1.x migration:
WDL reads legacy Config as far as practical, but because Gate/History/Policy concepts were reorganized, backup + regeneration is recommended.

Recommended migration:
1. Stop Minecraft/server.
2. Back up config/worlddimensionloader/.
3. Move old Config aside.
4. Install 1.2.1 and start once; new missing Config is generated before opening a world.
5. Read the new comments and manually copy only required Dimension/Gate/Policy values.
6. Run /wdl scan -> list -> status.
7. Test normal Gate, Overworld Gate, Gate History, Return Scroll, Policy, Anchor and Bed/Respawn.

Compatibility:
- Old Config is not automatically destructively rewritten.
- gate_type="DIMENSION" is accepted as normal Gate input.
- gate_type="RETURN" is a legacy alias for a normal Overworld destination Gate.
- New gates.toml omits gate_type.
- old [dimensions.return_gate].enabled is a compatibility guard only for legacy RETURN aliases; it does not disable new normal Overworld Gates.
- old [return_history].max_entries is a fallback only when new [gate_history].max_entries is absent.
- old Return History SavedData is not auto-converted to Gate Travel History.

Replace an old Return Gate definition with:
selection_mode = "LIST"
dimensions = ["minecraft:overworld"]

Gate Travel History may assist landing near the original Gate only for the latest exact reverse route. The Gate Config always owns the destination.

Review the current 1.2.x settings: gate_history, Inventory/Travel Policy, anchor.enabled, return_scroll, keep_loaded and bed respawn.
Back up both source worlds and Config before production migration.

Advanced Dimension Igniter durability
Old common.toml files without [items].advanced_dimension_igniter_durability use the default 100. Regenerating the latest Config exposes the option. Changes require a full restart.
