This project contains source code based upon, or includes source code from, third-party projects.
See: https://github.com/KostromDan/Crash-Assistant/tree/pages/thirdparty/NOTICE.txt
This notice is also distributed inside mod JAR archives at `thirdparty/NOTICE.txt`.
Nothing in this license limits or modifies rights granted under third-party licenses listed in `thirdparty/NOTICE.txt`;
those components remain under their original terms.

## 0) Acceptance

By downloading, installing, compiling, running, accessing, or distributing any part of this project (including source
code, object code, or binaries), you accept and agree to all terms of this license.
If you do not accept, you must not use, copy, or distribute any part of the project and must delete all copies in your
possession or control.

---

## 1) Can I use this in my modpacks?

- Yes, you can use this mod in your modpack without asking.
    - If there is a way to make the mod download from the official CurseForge or Modrinth page without shipping the JAR,
      please use that method.
    - If there is no way to do that, or doing so would be too difficult or impractical for you (for example, you
distribute a paid modpack archive via Patreon), you may ship the JAR directly.

## 2) Quick Definitions

Original Author — "KostromDan" (GitHub: `KostromDan`) or "Daniil Averin".

Competing Work — A work competes with this mod if either (a) an average user would treat it as a practical substitute
for this mod overall, or (b) it replaces specific functionality of this mod that users would reasonably expect or need
from this mod. Projects can compete even if they use different interfaces, platforms, or languages, and even if they are
free.

Public Announcement — Any message from the Original Author's account on the official GitHub repository (commits, issues,
pull requests, releases) or on the official Discord server, in any channel, thread, announcement, or pinned message.
Treat only messages from the Original Author's account as announcements and ignore messages by others.

Listed Release Platforms — GitHub Releases, CurseForge, and Modrinth.

Update — Any new commit in any branch of the official GitHub repository, any new release on a Listed Release Platform,
or any Public Announcement related to a new release of this mod.

Major Minecraft Version — An official stable game release in the form X.Y or X.Y.Z (for example, 1.20, 1.21, 1.21.1).
Release candidates, betas, and alphas are not major versions.

Port — An Update (see "Update" above) of this mod that is compatible with a new Major Minecraft Version.

Derived Code — (i) code copied from this project; (ii) code created based on or adapted from this project's code; or
(iii) code that extends or adds functionality to code described in (i) or (ii). Code that only interacts with this mod
through its documented public APIs, or simply checks for its presence, without copying or adapting its code, is not
considered Derived Code.

Public Documentation — Publicly posted user-facing materials authored by the Original Author on the official repository
or Listed Release Platforms: the README, CHANGELOG, release notes, and end-user documentation. For avoidance of doubt,
source comments, commit messages, issues, pull request conversations, and decompiled or disassembled forms are not
Public Documentation unless the Original Author expressly marks them as such in a Public Announcement.

Public API — Only those programmatic interfaces of this project that the Original Author has explicitly designated as
"Public API" in official documentation or in the source code by a prominent notice (for example, a comment "Public API",
an annotation such as `@PublicApi`, or placement under a path or package named `api` described as public). Absent such
explicit designation, no code is Public API.

Internal Code — All parts of the codebase that are not Public API, including non-designated classes, methods, data
formats, and implementation details.

Affiliate — Any person or entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with
you; and any owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, partners, parents, subsidiaries, maintainers,
contributors, or other persons acting for or on your behalf or at your request or with your material support. References
to actions by "you" include actions by your Affiliates to the extent they are done for your benefit or at your
direction.

---

## 3) Non-Compete

You may not use this project's code (source or object), any Derived Code, or any information or know-how obtained from
the code (including information learned through reading source, studying, analysing, decompiling, disassembling,
debugging, tracing, profiling, dynamic or static analysis, or similar techniques) to create, improve, assist, or
contribute to any Competing Work. "Use" includes any form of access or exposure by you or by persons acting under your
direction or on your behalf, whether or not copying occurs, and includes using such materials to train, fine-tune,
prompt, or otherwise develop machine-learning or other models intended to produce competing functionality.

Nothing in this section prohibits ordinary end-user use of the mod as distributed, for example, placing the mod's JAR
into the `mods` folder and using it like any other mod.

Independent Development (Clean-Room Safe Harbor where mandated by law only). Creating a Competing Work by independent
development (including so-called "clean-room" processes) is not permitted under this license by any recipient, except to
the extent that the non-waivable law governing your activities affirmatively guarantees a right that prevents
contractual prohibition of such independent development. Where, and only where, such a mandatory right applies, a narrow
safe harbor is available subject to all of the following: (a) the design specification is produced solely from Public
Documentation and Public API; (b) implementers have not viewed the project's Internal Code or any non-public
information; (c) you maintain contemporaneous records sufficient to demonstrate independence (including who had access
to code, who authored the specification, and who implemented it) and retain them for at least five (5) years; and (d)
you furnish those records on the Original Author's reasonable request. If applicable law does not provide such a
non-waivable guarantee, this safe harbor does not apply, and independent development of a Competing Work by licensees is
prohibited.

Mandatory-law carve-outs (observation, testing, decompilation, or interoperability). Where non-waivable statutory rights
allow observation, study, or testing of a program during lawful use, or decompilation strictly for interoperability, you
may exercise such rights only to the minimum extent strictly necessary to achieve the specific statutory purpose. Any
information obtained under those rights must not be used to create, improve, assist, contribute to, or market any
Competing Work, and must not be disclosed beyond what the law compels, except to the extent that the non-waivable law
governing your activity affirmatively forbids contractual limits on subsequent use of such information. In that case,
the non-waivable law controls, and this paragraph applies only to the broadest enforceable extent.

Text-and-Data Mining and AI. The rightsholder reserves all rights to text and data mining of the code and related
materials to the maximum extent permitted by law, including under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. Nothing here
restricts the exception in Article 3 (TDM for research organizations and cultural heritage institutions). Where
general-purpose TDM is permitted absent reservation, rights are hereby reserved by this license and may additionally be
reserved in machine-readable form in the repository or project website.

Global Anti-Circumvention Rule (No Abuse of Permissions; No Proxy or Affiliate Evasion). Notwithstanding anything to the
contrary anywhere in this license or in any Public Announcement, you and your Affiliates must not use any permission,
exception, carve-out, interoperability allowance, platform policy, or safe harbor in or referenced by this license to do
indirectly what this license prohibits directly, or to obtain an advantage that would allow you or your Affiliates to
create, improve, assist, contribute to, or market any Competing Work. This global rule applies, without limitation, to
permissions, carve-outs, and allowances described or referenced in Sections 3 (statutory carve-outs and
TDM reservations), 4 (Compatibility and Integration), 5 (Temporary Permission if the Project Is Abandoned),
8 (Republishing Mod Files or Forks), 9 (Republishing on Localized or Alternative Platforms), 10 (Copying Small Parts),
11 (Contributions, License-Back and Patent Licenses) and 12 (Legal and Platform Harmony) (collectively, the "Permission
Sections"). If any Permission Section appears to conflict with this rule, this rule and the core Non-Compete
restrictions in this Section 3 control to the maximum extent permitted by law.

- No permission to access Internal Code for competitive purposes. If exercising any Permission Section would, in
practice, expose you or your Affiliates to Internal Code, object-code internals, debug symbols, runtime traces, or
non-public know-how beyond what is strictly necessary for a permitted non-competing purpose, and you are working on,
planning, advising, funding, or otherwise contributing to any Competing Work, you must refrain from exercising that
permission. For avoidance of doubt, a Competing Work may not rely on Section 4.1 (compatibility/integration) or
Section 5 (temporary forks) to study, observe, test, decompile, reverse engineer, or learn from this project's code or
behavior except to the minimum extent strictly required by non-waivable law, and information so obtained must not be
used to create, improve, assist, contribute to, or market any Competing Work.

- No pivot or staged circumvention. You may not (a) start an integration, non-competing add-on, localization, or
Temporary Fork under Section 5 and later pivot to a Competing Work using any knowledge, insights, or materials
obtained from exposure to this project's code or internals; (b) split roles across teams, contractors, subsidiaries,
or related projects to spread steps of a prohibited act; or (c) cause, instruct, encourage, materially support, or
knowingly benefit from any third party (including Affiliates) doing what you are not permitted to do. Acts by your
Affiliates for your benefit are deemed acts by you.

- Scope of clean-room safe harbor unchanged. The narrow clean-room safe harbor in this Section 3 remains available only
where non-waivable law affirmatively guarantees the right and only under its stated conditions (including complete
reliance on Public Documentation and Public API, no exposure to Internal Code, and preservation of contemporaneous
records). You may not expand that safe harbor by reference to any Permission Section or platform policy.

- Examples (non-exhaustive). The following violate this rule: (i) creating a "compatibility" layer by reading Internal
Code, then launching a separate "independent" project that replicates functionality; (ii) opening a Temporary Fork
under Section 5 to learn design details and later publishing a "from scratch" competitor; (iii) having one affiliate
study the code and a different affiliate implement a nominally independent competitor based on knowledge transfer,
whether written, verbal, or via prompts to ML systems.

This Section 3 is intended to be enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If a court holds any
part unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the remainder remains in force, and the provision shall be applied to
the broadest enforceable extent in that jurisdiction.

This section does not limit what the Original Author may do with this project.

## 4) Compatibility and Integration

4.1 Non-Competing Works. You may implement compatibility and integration for non-competing works by any means, including
but not limited to: detecting the presence of the mod; reading or writing data files or network messages used by the
mod; reflection, mixins, bytecode weaving, method interception, or other runtime interposition; and other techniques
that rely on Internal Code or on Public API. Conditions:

- You must not include, copy, adapt, paste, or distribute any portion of this project's code (source or object) in your
  project or distribution.
- You must not claim or imply that your project is official or endorsed unless expressly authorized.
- If your integration results in Derived Code as defined in Section 2, you must license the resulting code under this
same license and version and comply with Section 11 (Contributions, License-Back and Patent Licenses).
- You may extend or augment functionality, but you may not copy or replicate this project's code or expressive
  implementation.

4.2 Competing Works. Compatibility for Competing Works is permitted only if it relies solely on detecting the presence
of the mod or Public API or on Public Documentation and does not use or depend on Internal Code. Any reverse engineering,
observation, study, or testing for interoperability must be limited to the minimum extent strictly necessary under
applicable non-waivable law and must not be used to create, improve, assist, contribute to, or market any Competing Work
beyond what such law compels. You must not include, copy, adapt, or distribute any of this project's code in or with a
Competing Work.

4.3 No waiver. This Section 4 does not waive or narrow the Non-Compete restrictions in Section 3, except as expressly
stated and only to the extent enforceable under applicable non-waivable law.

---

## 5) Temporary Permission if the Project Is Abandoned

You get temporary permission to fork, port, modify, and ship your version (including posting on Listed Release
Platforms) only while either of the following is true:

1) There has been 3 (three) months with no Updates (see "Update" above).
   or
2) This mod is not Ported (see "Port" above) to a new Major Minecraft Version within 7 (seven) days after that major
version's final stable release. A backport does not fall under this exception. For example, if the mod is released
for 1.21, the absence of a 1.14 build does not qualify under this exception.

When I resume development (any Update), you must, within thirty-two (32) days:

- stop making new changes;
- remove or archive your binaries from the Listed Release Platforms;
- use reasonable efforts to remove, or request removal of, binaries from any other platforms or mirrors, whether the
  upload was made by you or by third parties;
- nothing in the foregoing requires removal of the mod from modpacks or end-users that had already included your fork
  as of the date of the Update;
- keep your source only as a read-only archive for reference;

While exercising this Temporary Permission, you must:

- license your fork and all releases under this same license (the same version);
- preserve existing copyright, license, and third-party notices;
- publish your complete corresponding source code in a publicly accessible repository and provide a conspicuous link to
  that source on every platform page where you distribute binaries;
- clearly and prominently indicate that your build is an unofficial fork not created by or affiliated with the Original
  Author;
- include conspicuous links to the official project pages on the Listed Release Platforms on every page or readme where
you distribute binaries or describe the fork.

Peer Fork Interoperability (Temporary Forks). While this Section 5 Temporary Permission is in effect, any fork operating
under it (a "Temporary Fork") automatically grants every other Temporary Fork a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free,
irrevocable (for copies already received) license to use, reproduce, modify, merge, and incorporate its changes and
patches into their own Temporary Forks and releases under this same license and version. This reciprocal permission: (a)
applies only to material that is itself based on this project and released pursuant to Section 5; (b) requires no
additional permission beyond what this license already requires; (c) ends for a given Temporary Fork when it no longer
qualifies under Section 5 (without affecting rights to copies already lawfully received); and (d) does not expand any
rights to third-party code or to projects not based on this project.

This permission only pauses the Non-Compete rule for works based on this project (forks, ports, and other Derived Code)
while the conditions above are met. It does not pause the Non-Compete rule for unrelated projects, including any other
Competing Works that are not based on this project.

## 6) Permanent Relicensing After Three Years of No Updates

If there are no Updates for three (3) continuous years, all portions of the codebase that are licensed under this
license (including accepted contributions) are automatically and irrevocably licensed, in addition to this license,
under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License v3 (LGPL-3.0), as though they had been originally released
under LGPL-3.0. This relicensing excludes any code identified in `thirdparty/NOTICE.txt` as third-party or under
different terms.
LGPL v3 text: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl-3.0.txt

## 7) Automatic Termination on Breach; Restoration by Cure (First Breach)

This license terminates automatically and immediately upon any violation. All rights granted to you under this license
are revoked immediately upon breach. The Original Author is under no obligation to provide prior notice; any notice or
communication is optional and does not affect the timing of termination.

Restoration window (first breach only). If the breach is your first breach under this license and is capable of cure,
rights may be restored once at the Original Author's reasonable discretion if, within thirty-two (32) days after written
notice of breach or your written acknowledgement of breach (whichever occurs first), you: (a) cease the violation and
remove or disable access to all offending materials; (b) provide written certification of cure; and (c) where the
Original Author determines in good-faith discretion that the breach caused harm, you fully compensate such harm to the
Original Author's satisfaction. Recoverable harm may include, without limitation, direct losses, reasonable attorneys'
fees and enforcement costs, takedown and incident-response costs, administrative and moderation time, loss of goodwill
or reputational harm (measured by a reasonable license or sponsorship value), and lost profits where permitted by law.
The Original Author may condition restoration on verifiable proof of cure and compensation. Restoration is effective
only upon the Original Author's written confirmation. Subsequent breaches are not eligible for restoration by cure.

For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty and liability disclaimers below do not limit the Original Author's ability to
seek equitable relief or contractual damages for breach or infringement.

## 8) Republishing Mod Files or Forks

- Publicly reuploading or rehosting mod files or associated material on Modrinth or CurseForge is strictly prohibited
(unless the Temporary Permission above applies).
- You are allowed to make changes to the mod files if you are not publishing them publicly (that is, they are only
shared with your friends, family, or community). For the avoidance of doubt, this limited permission does not
authorize, and cannot be used to justify, any circumvention of the Non-Compete rule: you may not study, analyze,
decompile, disassemble, or otherwise use the Code (in source or object form) to create, improve, assist, or contribute
to any Competing Work. If you maintain, are involved with, or intend to contribute to a competing project, you must
not rely on this permission; doing so constitutes a breach of this license.
- If you have made changes to the mod, you must inform your users that they are using a modified version of the mod.

---

## 9) Republishing on Localized or Alternative Platforms

You are allowed to repost the mod (including mod files and/or translated descriptions) on your local or alternative
platform, under the following conditions:

- You indicate that it is an unofficial repost not associated with the Original Author.
- You provide links back to the official project pages (GitHub, CurseForge, Modrinth).
- You do so non-commercially, that is, without direct or indirect monetary gain or purpose.
- We may ask you to remove the mod from such a platform or to give us control over the project if we want to manage the
mod on that platform ourselves. You must immediately cooperate.

---

## 10) Copying Small Parts (Non-Competing Uses Only)

Limited copying is permitted for non-competing uses and under conditions. You may copy small parts of this mod for a mod
with a different purpose only if you:

- license the reused parts under this same license and version,
- include a link to this license and keep attribution, and
- accept the Contributions, License-Back, and Patent Licenses terms (see Section 11) for your changes and any Derived
Code you create from code licensed under this license.

You may not use code in any way for a Competing Work. If you used code but plan to add competing functionality that
would make your work a Competing Work, you must refrain from doing so and either avoid such changes or cease using all
code and any Derived Code based on it.

If you do not want to license taken code under this license and only want to keep attribution, you may contact the
Original Author to discuss your case.

---

## 11) Contributions, License-Back and Patent Licenses

11.1 Contributions and Relicensing by the Original Author. If you contribute code or assets to be included in this mod
or in code licensed under this license, and your contribution is accepted into the main repository
at https://github.com/KostromDan/Crash-Assistant, then:

- your contribution is covered by this license; and
- the Original Author (KostromDan) retains the right to relicense the mod, including your contributions, in part or in
  whole, under other licenses.

11.2 License-Back Grant to the Original Author. If you share changes to this project in any allowed way (for example, a
pull request, a patch, a fork made under the Temporary Permission, or any code you publish that uses or includes any
Derived Code based on code licensed under this license), you grant the Original Author a worldwide, free, irrevocable,
perpetual license to use, modify, create derivative works of, and include your changes (and any Derived Code) back into
this project and its official releases, with the right to sublicense and relicense without needing further permission or
compensation.

11.3 Patent License from Contributors. Each contributor grants to the Original Author and to all recipients of this
project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license under any of the contributor's
patent claims that are necessarily infringed by their contributions, alone or in combination with the project, to make,
have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise exploit the project, the contributions, and any Derived Code.
This grant is made directly from each contributor to each recipient; no separate sublicensing is required to pass along
this license when the project or Derived Code is distributed. For clarity, this does not grant rights under patent
claims that are not necessarily infringed by the contributor's contributions.

11.4 Patent License from the Original Author. The Original Author grants to all recipients a perpetual, worldwide,
non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license under the Original Author's patent claims that are necessarily
infringed by the project as distributed by the Original Author (including official updates), to make, have made, use,
offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise exploit the project and any Derived Code as permitted by this license.

---

## 12) Legal and Platform Harmony (Worldwide Intent)

This license is intended to be consistent with applicable law and with the policies, guidelines, and terms of CurseForge
and Modrinth (collectively, "Platform Terms"). Where a conflict exists, applicable law and the relevant Platform Terms
control; otherwise, this license applies to the maximum extent permitted by law. These terms are intended to be
enforceable worldwide to the maximum extent permitted by law.

For clarity, the non-waivable laws of the country where you perform the relevant activity (for example, where you
develop, distribute, or use the software) determine what is legally permitted for you. If something is unlawful in your
jurisdiction, the fact that it may be lawful elsewhere does not grant you any rights under this license.

EU (Software Directive). Nothing in this license seeks to exclude or limit the non-waivable rights under Directive
2009/24/EC on the legal protection of computer programs, including the rights to observe, study, or test a program
during lawful use (Article 5) and to decompile strictly to achieve interoperability (Article 6). Any exercise of such
rights must be confined to the minimum extent strictly necessary for the specific statutory purpose and remains subject
to Section 3's limits to the extent enforceable under the applicable non-waivable law.

EU (Text and Data Mining). For Directive (EU) 2019/790, Article 3 remains unaffected (TDM by research organizations and
cultural heritage institutions). For Article 4 (general TDM), the rightsholder reserves rights as described in Section
3, including via machine-readable reservations where provided.

U.S. interoperability. Nothing here is intended to prevent reverse engineering to achieve interoperability to the extent
permitted by 17 U.S.C. 1201(f) and other non-waivable provisions. Any such activity is limited to the minimum extent
strictly necessary and remains subject to Section 3's restrictions to the extent permitted by law.

No waiver of non-waivable rights; no expansion. References to statutes and directives above are for convenience and do
not create any rights beyond what those laws already provide. Where this license would restrict something that the
non-waivable law affirmatively protects, that law prevails and the restriction applies only to the broadest enforceable
extent.

Proof of applicable jurisdiction or status. If you invoke non-waivable rights of a country other than your citizenship
or habitual residence, you must maintain contemporaneous documentary evidence that the relevant activity physically
occurred in that country at the relevant time (for example, travel records, facility access logs, employer location
records) and, upon the Original Author's request, provide such evidence to the Original Author's reasonable
satisfaction. If you are not a citizen or resident and you fail to provide sufficiently persuasive evidence of physical
presence when requested, any reliance on those foreign non-waivable rights is void for purposes of this license, and the
Original Author may treat your activities as unlicensed to the maximum extent permitted by law.

---

## 13) License of This License Text

The text of this license is not covered by this software license. Anyone may copy, modify, and use this license text for
any purpose, as long as the license name is changed.

When this license must be used. If this license requires you to license copied or derived code under this license (for a
specific version), you must include the exact, unmodified text of that version. No changes are allowed to the text,
punctuation, spaces, headings, links, or format.

Translations may be added for convenience only and have no legal effect unless the verbatim English text for the
applicable version is included.

---

## 14) Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR
COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR
OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
