ASCENSION MECHANICS FTB QUEST ADDON - FIXED
==========================================

This fixes the first version.

Why the first one did not work:
FTB Quests does not automatically turn random PNG files into quest icons.
The reliable method is:
1. Load textures through a real namespace, usually KubeJS or a resource pack.
2. Register custom icon ITEMS with KubeJS.
3. Select those custom items as the quest icons inside FTB Quests.
4. Add the galaxy background as an FTB Quests image/background manually if your FTB version supports images.

INSTALL
=======

1. Unzip this file.
2. Copy the folder:
   resourcepacks/Ascension_Mechanics_FTB_Quest_UI_FIXED
   into your modpack's resourcepacks folder.

3. Copy the folder:
   kubejs
   into the ROOT of your modpack folder.
   Merge it with your existing kubejs folder if you already have one.

4. Restart Minecraft completely.
   Do not only reload resources the first time, because KubeJS item registration needs a restart.

5. Enable the resource pack in Options > Resource Packs.

CUSTOM QUEST ICON ITEMS
=======================

After restart, these items should exist:
kubejs:mechanism_gear
kubejs:galaxy_star
kubejs:locked_quest
kubejs:boss_skull
kubejs:galaxy_crystal
kubejs:reward_chest
kubejs:redstone_chip
kubejs:create_wrench
kubejs:exploration_rocket
kubejs:quest_alert

How to use them:
1. Open your world.
2. Open FTB Quests editor.
3. Edit a quest.
4. Change the icon.
5. Search for "Quest Icon:" or use the KubeJS item name.
6. Pick the custom icon item.

GALAXY BACKGROUNDS
==================

Textures included:
ascension_quests:textures/quests/backgrounds/galaxy_background.png
ascension_quests:textures/quests/backgrounds/galaxy_background_dark.png
ascension_quests:textures/quests/backgrounds/mechanical_galaxy_panel.png

If your FTB Quests version lets you add an image:
1. Right click in a chapter.
2. Add Image.
3. Search for ascension_quests or galaxy_background.
4. Add the galaxy image behind your quests.

If it still does not appear:
- Press F3 + T to reload resources.
- Restart Minecraft.
- Make sure KubeJS is installed and enabled.
- Make sure the kubejs folder was copied to the modpack ROOT, not inside resourcepacks.
