General instructions

The only thing left is to add the smuggler's lantern item, which starts the main
smuggler utility quest. This opens up a range of actions for you to have fun with
in the major cities of Azeroth (Stormwind, Ironforge, Lordaeron and Orgrimmar):

- You can "look" around areas with the quest panel button to find safe areas where
guards will not catch you and you can safely stash goods.
- You cab use the lantern to search the area for goods. If you get a message that
there is something there, keep trying!
- You can "look" for characters that will buy the goods you find. You have to ask
them if they are a "fence" to unlock this option (literally). You can sell all
goods to any fence, but some items will be more valuable to a certain fence.
- Once you have a fence or two and you sell your first goods you'll need an
informer. You have to find them in the same way you found the fence.
- Informers offer two services - they can arrange deliveries and exchanges. Both happen
only on enemy territory. A delivery costs 100 fence notes and requires you to find
the pick-up spot and "search" it through the quest panel to retrieve the goods.
An exchange costs only 10 notes, but you need to have some goods to prove to the
informer that you're worth their time. Then you find the spot and exchange the goods
by using them. You can have both a delivery and an exchange running if you have the
cash. EACH CITY HAS A SINGLE DROP-OFF/PICK-UP SPOT THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND.
Informers will provide some information when you first talk to them, and you can
repeat this conversation if you forget something. You can arrange exchanges only
with goods coming from one of the cities of your own faction. Enemy goods can only
be fenced, but they will provide a big profit!
- You can also sell the goods to other interested parties or start them on the smuggler
path (you can have two lanterns at a time).
- If you ever lose the lantern the quest will fail and you'll have to remove it
before adding the item again and starting the quest anew.

Enjoy!
