Resources:
1. native TFC resources are unchanged except of:
 - cinnabar and cryolite is no more source of redstone (cinnbar is red dye and mercury ore, cryolite os for aluminum ore melting)
 - redstone can be gained from crushed red gems
 - pitchblende is uranium and glowstone source
2. New ores added to TFC oregen bischofite, datolite, bauxite, wolframite, feldspar, apatite, crude oil.
3. additional ores are rare subsitution of regular resources: stibnite (associated with hydrotermal fissures and galena deposits), chromite (in magnetite deposits), mica (in gold deposits), limestone (river bed), trona (lake bed).
4. All ores can be scanned by means of IC2 OD/OV scanner or TFC propick.

Important note: Flaxbeard crucible is not supported by NEI.
Please refer to Esteemed Innovation handbook and Simple Achievements diary for crucible usage.
Following metals can be melted in this crucible and used with ingot, plate and nugget mold:
iron, gold, copper, zinc, tin, lead, steel, nickel, cupronickel, brass.
Following alloys can be created in this crucible:
brass, cupronickel.
Following ingots can be dunked in molten metals for create plated ingot:
iron in gold (glided iron), steel in nickel (galvanized steel), nickel in iron (permalloy)
Quartzite sand can be melted for glass block, panels, bottles, red, green, blue dyes can be melt and mixed with glass.

Aluminum can be obtained from smashed aluminum ore (obtained by crushing bauxite) only via arc furnace with cryolite additive, aluminum nuggets can be crushed again to obtain pure aluminum grit, which can be melted to ingots in arc furnace.

Changed mob properties: burning zombies/skeletons leave pile of dirt/clay or gravel/cobblestone, depending on type.
Monsters spawned at lower depth are more dangerous, but sometimes can be an emergency source of clay or flux.
Near bedrock, in presence of lava, there is chance to spot Blaze, with blaze rod drop.

At the ground level, enjoy peaceful nights - not counting some creepers, usually only neutral monster such zombie pigmans or endermans are spawned, which make no harm if unprovoked. Spiders can be usually fouund at the top of high trees or mountains.
After new moon phase, some hordes of zombies and sceletons can be spotted, most zombies are weak, but some are well equipped and hard to kill.
Two night later you can again sleep well or work at night, if you wish.

Known issues:
TFC chiseled planks are not compatible with Cuchaz Ships, therefore cannot be used for ships. Generally, only vanilla blocks, TFC logs, doors, trapdoors and thatch, oil treated planks, metal slabs/cubes and railcraft glasses and lamps can be used for ships. Vanilla logs can be created by soaking some TFC logs in olive oil.
